Initial situation & challenge

Many companies have a very heterogeneous system landscape, from SAP on-premise and cloud solutions to non-SAP HR tools. The biggest challenge is to seamlessly link these systems in order to guarantee the smooth running of the global HR/IT infrastructure.

SAP deployment options

Integration scenarios in the SAP universe

In the area of Human Capital Management (HCM), SAP offers a range of different (hybrid) deployment options, each with a different weighting of on-premise and cloud components, in order to cover the different requirements and needs of its customers.

The “core hybrid” model is one of the most common in practice. It covers the requirements of most companies and combines the most mature SAP solutions from the cloud and on-premise - at least as things stand today:

The time management and payroll functions remain in the classic SAP ERP HCM system, while HR Core and Talent Solutions are mapped in the cloud with SAP SuccessFactors.

This means that employee master data or organizational data, such as positions, is also migrated to the cloud and only stored there in its original form. SAP SuccessFactors EC (Employee Central) acts as the “source” in these areas, while SAP ERP HCM only accesses the data in the cloud as a “slave” in the form of replicated data.

Integration of non-SAP systems using the Integration Suite

Product & Third Pary Integration

With the SAP Integration Suite, we enable our customers to have data from any IT ecosystem interact with other systems within their IT ecosystem.

The SAP Integration Suite is an Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS) that helps companies connect applications across complex landscapes. This can help support end-to-end processes, increase data transparency and improve efficiency and productivity. The SAP Integration Suite offers a range of functions that can support companies in the integration of applications.

Wide range of connectors

It offers connectors for a wide range of applications, including SAP applications, third-party applications and cloud applications.

Easy Drag & Drop Design

It uses a simple drag-and-drop design that allows companies to create integrations quickly and easily.

Integrated monitoring

It offers integrated monitoring that enables companies to monitor the status of their integrations and quickly identify problems.

An overview

Cross-System Workflows

A cross-system workflow in the SAP HR context refers to the automation and integration of HR processes that are executed across multiple SAP systems and/or non-SAP systems. This involves linking various HR data and functions from different systems to ensure a seamless and efficient workflow.
