p78 strengthens social engagement: Supporting Hacker School and Sozialhelden e.V.

p78 is expanding its social engagement and is now supporting two nonprofit organizations that are making a significant impact in the areas of digital education and social inclusion: Hacker School and Sozialhelden e.V. Both organizations were selected through an employee-wide vote.

As part of this year’s Christmas campaign, p78 made a donation to both organizations. In addition, the internal initiative “Round off your salary” was launched in November 2025. Employees can contribute a fixed monthly amount from their gross salary to one of the two organizations, and p78 increases each individual employee donation by an additional €5 per month. The company sincerely thanks all employees who are already actively participating.

“Shared engagement is an important part of our corporate culture. With Hacker School and Sozialhelden, we support the work of two organizations that are dedicated to creating an inclusive, fair, and digital future.” – Clara Homburg, Corporate Social Responsibility Officer at p78

Support Beyond Financial Contributions

In addition to financial support, p78 is also actively involved with Hacker School: apprentices have the opportunity to virtually visit schools during working hours to give children and young people their first insights into the world of programming.

About the Organizations

Hacker School
Hacker School aims to inspire young people to learn programming – regardless of their background or social environment. Through hands-on courses and workshops, it teaches children and teenagers important digital skills.

Sozialhelden e.V.
The nonprofit organization Sozialhelden e.V. works to make barriers visible and develops innovative solutions for greater social inclusion. Projects such as Wheelmap.org, the world’s largest map of wheelchair-accessible places, as well as other initiatives promoting accessibility and awareness, demonstrate the organization’s comprehensive approach to fostering inclusion.

By supporting these two organizations, p78 reaffirms its commitment to taking responsibility and, together with its employees, contributing to a more inclusive and digitally competent society.
